Since 24-3-2020, the interest rate is updated according to directives No.(4/2020) by Central Bank of Myanmar. Due to the new policy, MFTB will be updated the interest rate as below starting date on 1-4-2020,
(1) Saving (MMK), interest rate is 6.5% for one year.
(2) Fixed Deposit (MMK),
Interest rate is 7% for 3 months.
Interest rate is 7.25% for 6 months.
Interest rate is 7.50% for 9 months.
Starting on 1-4-2020, Saving (MMK) and Fixed Deposit (MMK) will be used new interest rate as mentioned above, for old Fixed Deposit (MMK), will be used old interest rate until it's due.
